ARE FALSE EYELASHES NECESSARY AND CAN I OPT OUT OF USING IT?
In my opinion, false eyelashes complete a full makeup look. It is the finishing touch that adds that extra glam to any look whether it be natural or dramatic. Prices will remain the same even if opting out of lash service.
CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE EARLY MORNING / LATE EVENING?
Yes, however there is an early morning fee (before 9am) / after hours fee (after 8pm) that would apply.
IT’S LAST MINUTE, BUT CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TODAY?
Yes, but it would depend on my availability. Feel free to send me an email with all your service details and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible and I’ll let you know if I can accommodate you. A 50% deposit would still be needed to book last minute appointments as well.
DO YOU DO HAIR AS WELL?
If you'd like your hair to be curled, waved, straightened, or smoothed, I can help with that. But if you're looking for a fancy braid or an intricate up-do, then I'll refer you to a talented hairstylist.
DO YOU RECOMMEND A BRIDAL TRIAL BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY?
Although not mandatory, I would highly recommend it. During the trial, we will discuss and try out the makeup style you've chosen and tweak it to fit you and make any adjustments if necessary. Trials also give you the option to try different looks and see what you like best. It will also allow you to wear the makeup for the day and see how it feels and holds up in preparation for your wedding day. Then on the day of your wedding, we would have the look nailed down already and everything will run that much more smoothly.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK A MAKEUP ARTIST FOR MY WEDDING?
You should start searching for a makeup artist anywhere from 6 months to 12 months prior to your wedding date. I personally tend to get booked up a year in advance, so I strongly suggest doing a trial sooner than later to make sure you can book your wedding date with your desired artist.
AFTER THE BRIDAL TRIAL, HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO BOOK?
Booking the wedding date is on a first come first serve basis and after the trial you’re allowed 14 days to decide if you’d like to move forward. The wedding day deposit and signed contract must be received within the 14 days after the trial before the date becomes available to other brides.
CAN YOU RECOMMEND ME A GREAT HAIRSTYLIST?
Absolutely, I work with several skilled hair stylists and can recommend one to fit your needs. They come highly recommended and I have personally worked alongside with each of them and know their work ethic and talent. You will need to contact them directly regarding their pricing and availability.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE A LARGE BRIDAL PARTY?
Definitely! I personally can service up to 5 people by myself, for parties 5+ I will bring an assistant along to ensure all makeup will be applied thoroughly and in a timely manner without rushing.
HOW LONG DOES MAKEUP APPLICATION TAKE?
I always give the bride a full hour, just so there is no rushing and allows buffer time. Bridal party and other applications typically take about 40 minutes.
